Sukhvasa Villas stands alone on a quiet shoulder of hill in Beolia, far enough from Shimla's Mall Road to hear nothing but wind through the deodars, close enough to be there in under half an hour.
It is let one group at a time. The living hall, the dining room, the bar, the gym, the balconies and all six bedrooms belong to you and the people you arrived with, with no corridors shared with strangers, no reception desk and no queue for breakfast.
Six bedrooms sleep up to twelve across three floors, each with its own attached bathroom. It suits family reunions, corporate offsites and milestone weekends better than it suits a single couple, though nobody has ever complained about having the extra room.
